Please read these terms carefully before booking with us.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Manitour Pedalers LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), including our website, booking platform, tours, and boat rentals. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Manitour Pedalers operates pedal boat tours, electric boat rentals, and related recreational activities in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Our services are available to guests who meet applicable age, health, and legal requirements as described in our booking process.
Services are subject to availability, weather conditions, and minimum capacity requirements. We reserve the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule tours as necessary.
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment. We accept major credit cards processed securely through Square. Prices are displayed in US Dollars and include any applicable taxes and fees.
Deposit bookings require payment of the remaining balance at least 7 days prior to the tour date. Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in cancellation of the booking.
Gift cards and discount codes are subject to their own terms and expiration dates. Gift cards are non-refundable once purchased.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled tour may be eligible for a full refund or rescheduling. Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour are non-refundable, except at the Company's sole discretion.
We reserve the right to cancel tours due to severe weather, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, customers will be offered a full refund or rescheduling at no additional cost.
No-show bookings without prior cancellation notice are not eligible for refunds.
All participants must sign a liability waiver before participating in any tour or rental. Participants under the age of 18 require a parent or guardian signature.
Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by our staff and guides. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is visibly intoxicated, behaves in a disruptive manner, or poses a risk to themselves or others.
Boat rentals without a captain require a valid driver's license. Individuals born after January 1, 1989 must provide a valid Wisconsin Boater Safety Certificate as required by state law.
By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent checkbox during the booking process, you expressly consent to receive automated SMS text messages from Manitour Pedalers at the phone number provided. This consent is obtained at the time of booking through our online booking form at www.manitourpedalers.com.
About Our Sending Number
All SMS messages from Manitour Pedalers are sent from a toll-free number. This number is used exclusively for transactional and operational messaging related to your booking — it is not a marketing shortcode. The toll-free number allows us to send reliable, carrier-compliant notifications while keeping a consistent, identifiable sender that you can save in your contacts. You may reply directly to this number with questions or to opt out.
Message Types
Messages sent by Manitour Pedalers may include:
- Booking confirmations and receipts
- Pre-tour reminders (typically 24 hours before your tour)
- Waiver completion reminders
- Check-in notifications
- Tour updates, weather alerts, or cancellation notices
- Responses to customer service inquiries
We do not send promotional or marketing messages via SMS. All messages are directly related to a confirmed booking or a service request you have initiated.
Message Frequency
You will typically receive 3–5 messages per booking (confirmation, reminder, waiver reminder, check-in notification). Message frequency may vary based on booking activity.
Rates & Opt-Out
Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us, though we may still contact you via email for essential booking communications.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to book or participate in our services. SMS messaging is provided as a convenience for timely tour-related updates.

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Manitour Pedalers and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our express written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manitour Pedalers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website.
Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Manitowoc County, Wisconsin.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
